Senior Consultant - Data Analysis
£45,000-£65,000 depending on experience. Annual performance related bonus and Hybrid working. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing business. We are looking for the right person to help grow our Analyst capability within i3Works.

Role Purpose
This is an outward-facing role requiring effective stakeholder engagement together with well-developed collaborative and analytical working practices. As a Data Analyst, your core purpose will be helping i3Works and our clients make informed decisions based on data-driven insights. Working with stakeholders, engineers, and business teams you will help align data strategies with goals. Using your analytical skills, you will be expected to bring a solid understanding of data fundamentals, including data interrogation, analysis, interpretation, and presentation. This will be used to help shape solutions and drive informed decision-making across the service development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Capable and willing to work in related roles, such as Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, and Digital Transformation roles.
- Data Collection and Management: Collect, organise, and maintain large datasets to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Perform statistical analyses on datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making processes
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data through rigorous quality assurance and validation processes
- Data Visualisation: Create visual representations of data using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar, to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
- Training and Mentoring: Provide training and support to team members and other departments on data analysis tools and best practices
- Skilled in a variety of elicitation methods and can advise your team on the appropriate use of each method depending on the stakeholder and scenario
- Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders
- Using your judgement and a high degree of creativity, you will navigate complex and varied issues and circumstances where guidance and precedent may not always be available
- Demonstrating high levels of interpersonal skills, you will consult with other grades to solve complex issues, ensuring that strategic decisions are well-informed and aligned with organisational objectives.
- You will be expected to make decisions related to the most effective business/data modelling required in the circumstances, with a strong emphasis on leveraging data to support those decisions
- Continue to grow your skills and capabilities, particularly in the data space
Experience and Qualifications
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to create dashboards and visual reports that communicate trends and KPIs effectively.
- Awareness of data quality principles, data lineage, and governance frameworks to ensure reliable and compliant data usage.
- Proven ability to work with data sets using tools like Excel, SQL, or Power BI to derive actionable insights and support business decision-making.
- Skilled in translating business needs into data-driven requirements, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Already holds, or will be expected to achieve, National Security Vetting (to SC/DV levels)
Role Location
Our people will be comfortable working in a hybrid environment. Attendance at client locations will vary in accordance with our clients' requirements. The ideal candidate will be within an easily commutable distance of our Bristol office and be able to operate from our client locations. These are typically within 50 miles of Bristol along the M4/M5 corridor. However, new clients are always coming on board, and our people must have the flexibility and desire to travel in support of the business.
